In today’s video, I answer a question posted on Quora that says:
“Can one earn money by posting stories to the Internet?”
Having earned a little over $2,000 by casually posting my video content here on Steemit, I have a good answer for this.
Although I haven’t been posting on Steemit “primarily” as a way to make money, as my Steemit account reached $2,000, I started getting more curious about how Steemit worked and how I could maximize what I’m doing. (Power ups and all that)
But between the terms “STEEM”, “STEEM POWER” and “STEEM DOLLARS” and POWER UPs (and then combining that with the whole “crypto-currency” learning curve) I wouldn’t mind admitting that I was pretty dang confused!
And every explanation I read about Steemit ON the Steemit platform was in text form and seemed to just confuse me even more.
It just wasn’t clicking…
But, being a Udemy instructor, I thought perhaps there would be a course about Steemit that could walk me through every single element of the site / platform / wallet, etc. and there was!
So, I enrolled in the course and already things are SO MUCH CLEARER!

Now, for most people, the question I found on Quora was a question about blogging, but blogging is not an immediate money maker.
It can take a long time to get your blog to be ranked and seen as credible in the eyes of the search engines, so it can take time (months) to get a blog to make money.
What I describe in today’s video is a cool, new social network / blogging platform (STEEMIT) that generates payouts to you on your blog posts almost instantly.
This is a very cool way to get paid as a writer or content creator and now that I am gaining CLARITY about Steemit through this online course, I am now experimenting with ways to build my account up and really maximize the over 200 posts that I have on here!
